RALPH TAMPUBOLON
Ralph Tampublon is the anchor of Metro TV's late-night program "Metro Malam". He joined the company in March 2006, and has reported for several programs including "Metro This Morning" and "Indonesia Now".
His international background helped shape his interests and career. Born in Jakarta, Tampubolon lived in Boston, Massachusetts for five years, graduating with a Master of Arts in Media Communication from Webster University in Cha-Am, Thailand.
Among his most notable interview subjects - Former Phillippines' president Corazon Aquino and former Malaysian deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Prior to joining Metro TV, Tampubolon was a reporter with JakTV and TVRI in Jakarta. He also worked in radio at 101FM Radio One and M97FM.
Tampubolon is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English. His long-range goals include working in the film industry.
