Pakistan Navy Holds Anti-piracy Drills at Arabian Sea

Pakistan’s and other countries’ naval forces staged anti-piracy and RDC firing demonstrations in the Arabian Sea on Monday as part of AMAN-23 exercises.

More than fifty countries including The United States, The United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia are participating in the exercises which continue on Tuesday.

Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, Commander of the Pakistan Fleet said, the exercise is not aimed against any particular country. It gives a message of peace and that Pakistan's navy is an effective naval force. 

He added that after conducting the exercise, the navy is fully ready to deal with more traditional and conventional threats.
