N/A • 24 March 2023 00:32

Pakistanis in the Garrison City of Rawalpindi, lined up at flour distribution centres, which were announced by the government to help people cope with inflation with the muslim fasting month of Ramadan around the corner.

Authorities were instructed by Prime Minister to hand out flour to people in need and those who make small incomes.

But people faced with inflation and the steep rise in the price of flour over the past two years say, this is not enough.

Many Pakistanis are worried about their expenses and food bills during Ramadan.

Official figures state that consumer inflation in Pakistan was over 30% last month, but experts say the real impact of inflation is much higher.
