Serbian police on Thursday detained 85 people in what they described as an "action designed to curb criminal acts and offenses" by migrants stranded in the Balkan country while trying to reach western Europe.
Police videos from the scene show fully equipped officers wearing bulletproof vests and helmets standing guard over a group of migrants kneeling in a field with their hands over their heads.
