Two people were killed and 10 injured after rockets explosions were reported in the Melitopol, Ukraine, Russian-held city, on Saturday (10/12/2022) night.
According to the Russia-appointed Governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky, himars rockets hit a recreation area on the city's outskirts.
However, the city's Ukrainian mayor, Ivan Fedorov who cited information from local residents, said a Russian base was hit and about two hundred occupiers were believed to be killed.
Melitopol itself is about 90 kilometers North of Henichesk, where Russian authorities relocated after troops abandoned kherson city last month.
