Indonesia Mount Merapi Continues Erupting Since Saturday

Indonesia's active volcano mount merapi that lies between Yogyakarta and Central Java has been erupting since Saturday, spewing colums of ashes from its crater.

On monday, it spew about one thousand one hundred metre column above its crater and the vulcanic materials sliding down the slope of the mountain towards west through bebeng river.

Residents who are living in the area have been ordered to avoid radius five to seven kilometres from the crater, as the area has been declared dangerous zone.

No casualties are reported from the eruption so far.
