Chinatown is one of the few areas in Bangkok, Thailand to have resisted rapid development and its tree-lined avenues and narrow alleyways stand in stark contrast to the tower-blocks which dominate most of the Thai capital. But now the area is suffering evictions and some fear the neighbourhood is at risk of losing its identity.
