Volunteers Walk Towards Cianjur Earthquake Victims Refugee Post to Provide Assistance

Several villages in Cugenang, Cianjur are still isolated. Volunteers are attempting to reach people living there by foot. One of those villages is Sarampad Village, to reach Sarampad Village, volunteers have to pass a paddy field after the only road into the village was blockaded by a landslide. 

Many volunteer teams are distributing food and other supplies including cash. Volunteers witness that Monday's earthquake has left much damage in isolated villages. Many of the poorly-built houses and buildings have now turned into rubble.

After the quake, people in Sarampad Village are now living in temporary shelters, including plastic tents.
