In other news, at least ten were killed in a riot in Wamena, a Mountainous District in Papua and 18 others are still receiving treatment at the local hospitals there. Police Chief in Papua said that there are also 13 houses and some Indonesian security forces' vehicles were also burned.
Police are still investigating the case. So far more police personnel were deployed to strengthen security in the Jayawijaya area.
The situation is back to normal as local figures have helped to communicate with locals there.
