The death toll in the conflict between the Turkish military and Kurdish fighters in northern Syria continues to rise. VOA’s Heather Murdock has this report from the Turkish-Syria border region where she met with families of victims, some of whom are refugees who thought they would be safe in the border region after fleeing Syria’s civil war.
