Police in Aceh found 32 hectares of marijuana fields in a protected forest in Nagan Raya regency, Aceh, a Northenmost Province in Sumatera Island, Indonesia. But they found no one at the sites, which likely have been abandoned earlier.
The marijuana fields are located in a remote protected forest, where police personnels needed to spend eight hours on walk to get there, those marijuana plants are cultivated at least in seven different fields. Police estimated there are more than ten thousand stems of marijuana.
Earlier, an investigation was developed after police in west aceh regency arrested two drug dealers who owned 16 kilograms of marijuana. Some air surveillances also have been done to get the exact locations of the fields.
