Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu met with French President Emmanuel Macron at Elysee Palace, Paris, Thursday (2/2/2023). Macron also is offering to help revive long-stalled dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
President Macron's Office said he planned to share France’s “solidarity with Israel in the face of terrorism and also stress the need for everyone to avoid measures likely to feed the spiral of violence.

While after returning from a lightning diplomatic mission to Khartoum on Thursday, Israel's Foreign Minister, Eli Cohen said, Israel expects to sign a peace treaty with Sudan this year. There, Eli Cohen met with Various Sudanese Political Figures, including Sudan’s ruling general, Abdel-Fattah Burhan.
Cohen said, the agreement is expected to be signed this year, and it will be the fourth peace treaty for Israel, since the signing of peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan. Earlier, Israel also signed peace treaties with United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and morocco in 2020.
