President Joko Widodo met with a number of prominent company executives at the start of his visit to South Korea. The president has asked the South Korean investors to not hesitate to convey any problems they might encounter straight to him or to any members of his cabinet.
The president emphasized that The Indonesian Government continues to simplify and ease regulations alongside The Omnibus Law of Job Creation.
The President also explained that Indonesia's Economy right now is in a good condition with a positive economic growth and controllable inflation.
The head of state expressed his appreciation regarding the investments that's been brought to Indonesia. He also stated that the South Korean investment trend is showing a significant improvement.
After the meeting, President Jokowi witnessed the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board and Krakatau Steel and Posco Holdings. South Korea is the last country The President will visit during his East Asia Trip.
