First Panoramic Train In Indonesia

During the Christmas and new year holiday seasons, the Indonesian railway company launched a special panoramic train that will allow passengers to fully enjoy the beauty of the scenery during their journey. This panoramic train is the first of its kind in Indonesia.

This is the panoramic train launched by the Indonesian railway company on December 24th, 2022. This panoramic train, which runs along the Jakarta Gambir to Yogyakarta route is the first of its kind in Indonesia and has special features which allow passengers to fully enjoy the scenery of their journey.

It has large dimensional windows on both sides and an elongated glass roof, which can be opened automatically. In addition, the train is complete with 46 seats that can be rotated to face the window, on top of automatic window curtains, and toilets with automatic sensors.

Passengers can buy panoramic train tickets through the Indonesian railway company or KAI Access application website and all other official sales sites. The Public Relations Manager of Indonesian Railways Company Operation Area 6 Yogyakarta, Frankto Wibowo said that as part of its launch, the Indonesian railway company will provide promo discounted prices for the tickets starting from Rp750 thousand.

This panoramic train operates from December 24 to January 8 2023 with the Gambir Jakarta-Yogyakarta route.
