A magnitude 7,5 earthquake hit Indonesia's Maluku Province on early Tuesday morning. The Country's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a tsunami warning before it ended the warning two hours later.

The early morning earthquake has caused a number of houses damaged, and some residents were wounded. According to Dwi Korita, Head of BMKG from observations from four gauges around the center of the earthquake that was at sea, the sea surface was increasing but it was not significant.

That means a small tsunami was created but its high was not significant to be counted and it did not reach the coastline. However, one diver did not survive the small tsunami. On Tuesday, residents along the coast found the body of a 44-year-old man from Lauran Village in Tanibambar Islands. The body was still wearing a dive suit.

They believed that the man died after his body hit rocks at sea. So far, authorities have been checking the actual number of infrastructure damage and victims from the earthquake.
