Big wave surfer Alex Botelho was rushed to a hospital, Tuesday, February 11, after being repeatedly caught up in massive waves in Portugal during a competition. Botelho’s teammate, Hugo Vau, went out to rescue Botelho on a jet ski after he was crushed by one big wave, at which point Botelho and Vau were both hit by another swell, sending the pair flying off their jet ski.
