Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim Visits Indonesia

Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is visiting Indonesia. Making Indonesia, his first bilateral trip abroad since he was inaugurated back in November 2022. In a bilateral meeting with Indonesia's President Joko Widodo on Monday at the Presidential Palace in Bogor. Prime minister Ibrahim discussed ways on how to further improve Malaysian and Indonesian economic and overall bilateral ties.

Indonesia president Joko Widodo received Malaysia's new prime minister, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Presidential Palace in Bogor on Monday morning. Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim's visit to Indonesia marks his first bilateral trip abroad. Since he was inaugurated as prime minister in November 2022.

Upon his arrival to the Presidential Palace in Bogor, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim was greeted with a lavish welcoming ceremony followed by a greeting between Indonesian and Malaysian delegates a veranda talk, and both leaders also planted a merawan tree on the lawn of the palace.

The leaders of Malaysia and Indonesia of course held bilateral talks. Covering a wide a range of issues, including the development of bilateral cooperation and joint efforts to face regional and global challenges.
