China is barring American Navy ships and military aircraft from visiting Hong Kong in retaliation for the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act — legislation that supports pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. The bill was passed by the U.S. Congress and signed by U.S. President Donald Trump last week.
