Peruvians Shamans Make New Year Predictions

Days before the arrival of 2023, a group of Peruvian shamans performed rituals on a hilltop outside Lima to make their annual predictions and wish good fortune for the coming year. 

Félix Manuel Roldán who calls himself the Peruvian shaman drank the traditional psychedelic brew of ayawaska before making his predictions. Roldán said the social unrest saw for weeks in Peru after President Pedro Castillo was ousted is still not over. 

The group made a plea to end the conflict in Ukraine, and wished good luck to the Argentina football team after obtaining the world cup championship.
