President Vladimir Putin's ruling United Russia party is celebrating its victory in the country's parliamentary elections. With more than 90 percent of votes counted, results show the pro-kremlin party is well in the lead winning nearly 50 percent of the vote. Its nearest rival, the communist party stands at just 21 percent.
