Two Americans Detained in North Korea Had Different Paths

Otto Warmbier, the US college student released by north korea in a coma last week died in a Cincinnati, Ohio hospital. Warmbier had been held by pyongyang for 17 months having tearfully confessed to trying to steal a propaganda banner while on a tour of the country. In the winter of 2016 as news spread of warmbier's detention another American living nearby in Ohio watched news reports intently as the incident unfolded.
