During the closing ceremony of the Indonesian stock exchange in 2021, Indonesia's coordinating minister of economic affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, stated that the Indonesian economy is resilient and strong enough to withstand any global challenges in 2022.
The Minister also praised the performance of Indonesia's composite index, which broke a record high of 6,700.
