Despite the pandemic, Indonesia has achieved a trade surplus for 19 consecutive months, starting from May 2020. The surplus has reached USD34 billion in November 2021. If another trade surplus is achieved in December, Indonesia could record its highest annual export performance ever in the history of the country.
