Rybanika Reaches Women's Single FInal for First Time

Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina booked her place in her first-ever Australian open women's singles final.

Rybakina rules the match with a straight-sets 7-6 and 6-3 victory over Victoria Azarenka at the rod laver arena in Melbourne on Thursday.

In the first set, Elena Rybakina hit a forehand winner down the line to bring up break point on Victoria Azarenka's serve at advantage and at 4-3 up in games.

In the second set, Elena Rybakina broke Victoria Azarenka's serve and win the second set 6-3 after Azarenka sends her backhand return into the net.
