One of the world's largest international art fairs is debuting last Friday in Seoul. More than 110 galleries are taking part in the fair, featuring major artworks from old masters and 20th-century contemporary artists.
The fair is divided into two sections, respectively called frieze masters and focus Asia. Frieze masters features artwork by internationally-renowned artists such as Picasso, Willem De Kooning and Tom Sachs.
Menwhile, focus Asia is a curated section of 10 galleries. All based in Asia, solo presentations by more emerging artists. Frieze art fairs are organised annually in London, Los Angeles and New York City.
The first edition of Frieze Seoul is the first one to take place in Asia and runs until 4 September.
