Barongsai Lion Dance Show in Ancol Amusement Park

In welcoming the Chinese Lunar New Year 2023, Jaya Ancol Amusement Park is once again showing barongsai or the traditional lion dance, underwater. Not only that, visitors also stand a chance to win thousands of angpaos.
 
Ancol amusement park is bringing back the underwater lion dance or barongsai in anticipation of the 2023 Chinese Lunar New Year.

Besides showing the lion dance, they are also telling the story of the moon goddess and the history of the rabbit healer. the theme is fitting as this is the year of the rabbit.
 
The barongsai show is performed by 6 professional divers featuring 1 barongsai lion and one liong and then 2 more barongsais on land.
 
Visitors in the fantasy world section of Ancol Amusement Park also stand a chance to win thousands of angpao or red envelopes as well as kung fu shows and a special Chinese New Year parade among the many attractions available at Ancol Amusement Park.
