Typhoon Nalgae Makes Landfall in China

Typhoon Nalgae weakened into a tropical depression and made landfall in Zhuhai City, South China's, Guangdong Province at around five in the morning on Thursday with the wind strength at about scale 7.

Tyhpoon Nalgae is expected to move Southwest at a speed of some 10 kilometer per hour amid gradual weakening.
China's National Meteorological Center canceled the blue alert against the typhoon at 6 am on Thursday and stopped numbering Nalgae as a typhoon at 8 am.
It is forecast that strong winds at a scale between 6 and 7 will hit such areas, the Taiwan strait, Northern part of the South China Sea and central and Eastern parts of Guangdong.
Some regions, including central Guangdong and North eastern Taiwan, will be battered by heavy rain and rainstorm from Thursday to Friday.
