The Indonesian government continues to increase its agricultural production output, including boosting the domestic production of soybeans which has dropped significantly in recent years due to cheaper us imports of soybean. Currently the government is making a push, to increase soybean farm lands across Indonesia to 1 million hectares and also increasing the use of higher quality seeds.
