US President Donald Trump has officially recognized Venezuela's opposition leader Juan Guaido as the South American country's interim president. Trump issued a statement Wednesday after Venezuela's national assembly declared the presidency of Nicolas Maduro as illegitimate and Guaido declared himself interim president.
