Indonesia's Great Opportunity to Qualify Semifinals SEA Games 2023

Football drawing for The 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia has been completed on Wednesday. From the draw, Indonesia has a great chance of qualifiying for the semifinals.

The drawing format carried out at the 2023 SEA Games is slightly different from previous one, because the entire team is only divided into two pots. Indonesia is in the pot two along with Thailand, which in the previous edition won a silver medal.

Indonesia's chances of winning gold at the SEA Games can be wide open. Indonesia is in group A with the host Cambodia, Timor Leste, Philippines and Myanmar.

From the draw result, it seems that the Garuda Squad will avoid tough opponents such as defending cahmpion Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia in the group phase.

Later, the two top teams in the group phase will qualify for the semifinals. Group A winners will meet group B runners up and group A runners up will meet group B winner.
