Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Ahmad Muzani, who also attended the meeting, revealed a number of things that were discussed at the meeting.

"Earlier we had lunch with the President and He asked for having lunch together with me and my friends. So we accompanied the President to lunch," said Ahmad Muzani, as quoted from Setkab.go.id.

According to the MPR Chairman, one of the points that was the topic of discussion for the President was a comprehensive evaluation of the BUMN directors.

This evaluation is part of the assessment and efforts to ensure that BUMN becomes a strong institution and makes a real contribution to national development.

"Earlier, we talked a little about the performance of state-owned enterprises. He hopes that it can become a state business unit that has quite strong strength. Because on the one hand, the capital participation from the state is quite significant in value," explained the MPR Chairman.

According to him, the public has high expectations for the performance of organizers within BUMN. This includes BUMNs that join Danantara so that they can make a big contribution to national economic development.

"On the other hand, what the public expects from the performance of the organizers in state-owned enterprises, including those who are members of Danantara, is that they can contribute greatly to the development of economic development in Indonesia. Especially for the welfare of the Indonesian people and society," he added.

In addition, Ahmad Muzani said that the meeting also discussed the continuation of efforts to handle Palestinians affected by the conflict, especially in the Gaza region.

"What is on his mind is how when Palestine is independent, people who have experienced war trauma, children, women, women, people with disabilities can recover quickly and return to their homeland," said the MPR Chairman.

The President, said the MPR Chairman, also paid special attention to medical personnel and educators from Palestine. He considered that they should be helped to recover from trauma and increase their professional capacity so that they are ready to contribute to the development of the future of Palestine.

"So that when Palestine is declared free from war, they can return to their homeland in Palestine to build the future of Palestine together," he continued.
