Four Airports Remain Closed Until 18:00 WIB due to Volcanic Ash Spread

Jakarta: PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) has suspended operations at four airports in the Tangerang, Jakarta, Lampung, and Bandung areas. This measure follows the ongoing increase in eruptive activity at Mount Anak Krakatau.

"Due to the heightened eruptive activity of Mount Anak Krakatau, several PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) airports are experiencing a suspension of flight operations," stated InJourney Airports management via its official Instagram account, @injourneyairports, on Monday, September 7, 2026.

The four airports experiencing operational disruptions until 18:00 WIB on Monday, September 7, 2026, are:
- Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK), Tangerang
- Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (HLP), Jakarta
- Radin Inten II Airport (TKG), Lampung
- Husein Sastranegara Airport (BDO), Bandung
