President Prabowo Witnesses Signing of Gaza War Cessation Agreement

Jakarta: The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, attended the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit at the International Congress Center, Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, on Monday, October 13, 2025. At the forum, President Prabowo witnessed the signing of the peace agreement and the cessation of hostilities in Gaza, Palestine.

President Prabowo met with several world leaders present at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit. The Head of State interacted with several world leaders in a warm atmosphere.

Afterward, President Prabowo and the leaders of the countries participating in the summit proceeded to the group photo area. Before the group photo, each leader posed for a photo with United States (US) President Donald Trump, Co-Chair of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.

Following the photo with President Trump, all the leaders of the countries participating in the summit took a group photo. On that occasion, President Prabowo stood in the front row, flanked by French President Emmanuel Macron and the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

After a photo session, President Prabowo and other heads of state proceeded to the main hall for the signing of the peace document. The document was signed by United States President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Said Hussein Khalil al-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Other world leaders, including President Prabowo, witnessed the signing ceremony in person. President Prabowo sat next to President Macron.
