Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto expressed his appreciation for the distribution of interactive flat panels (IFPs), or smartboards, to schools. A total of 173,000 digital interactive panels have been distributed.
"A few days ago, I received a report that there were only 130,000, now there are 173,000. This is extraordinary," said Prabowo at SMPN 4 Bekasi City, West Java, on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Prabowo stated that this smartboard program is one of the largest in the world. This program supports the development of the nation's children's intelligence.
"If I'm not mistaken, this program is probably one of the largest in the world," said Prabowo.
The government had originally targeted the distribution of 288,000 smartboards by December 17, 2025. However, the Head of State acknowledged that difficult distribution locations would pose a challenge.
"I urge you not to force it if it's delayed by one, two, or three weeks. It shouldn't be a problem. I know it's very difficult in many areas. We briefly saw in the video that some people are using boats and some are using motorbikes to reach villages," Prabowo said.
