Jakarta: Head of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), Rosan Roeslani, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to constructing affordable housing on land donated by the Lippo Group.

“Danantara Housing will carry out the construction, and financing will be handled by banks. Crucially, monthly installments will be kept affordable,” Rosan said after a signing ceremony at Wisma Danantara Indonesia, Jakarta, on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Danantara is continuing intensive cross-sector coordination to ensure the timely completion of the megaproject. As part of the government’s “3 Million Homes” program, the project –,situated on a 30-hectare site,– aims to provide affordable housing for low-income earners (MBR).

The agency is also designing financial access mechanisms to help MBR –who have historically struggled to secure loans– qualify for mortgages (KPR) from partner banks.

“God willing, the project will proceed smoothly and in accordance with the President's directions,” Rosan remarked.

Rosan added that Danantara is “currently calculating the investment value (and) cannot disclose the figures yet.”

The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas, Maruarar Sirait, commended the handling of the project. He noted the cohesive coordination among the parties involved and highlighted the safeguards designed to protect future homebuyers from land disputes.
