Jakarta: Indonesia and Belarus have officially launched the Roadmap for Bilateral Cooperation, a long-term strategic framework aimed at delivering tangible benefits for both countries.
Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono described the roadmap as a significant step forward, stating, “we hope it further strengthens relations between our two nations, and deepens cooperation to boost our economies and secure the resources we need.”
Business Forum Yields Staggering Potential
As part of the visit, a business forum was held, bringing together business delegations and investors from both Indonesia and Belarus.
The forum generated highly positive results, with Sugiono estimating the projected value of economic cooperation at “around USD 500 million,” equivalent to more than IDR 8 trillion.
The forum reflected the strong commitment of both countries to strengthen diplomatic ties and create tangible economic opportunities between the Eurasian and Southeast Asian regions.
