Jakarta: Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya said the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of central and regional governments presents a key opportunity to strengthen the role of regions in developing Indonesia’s creative economy.

“Synergy between the central and regional governments is the main foundation for making the creative economy a new engine of national economic growth that starts from the regions,” Harsya said in a press statement received on Tuesday, quoted from Antara.

Through strong coordination, he stressed, regional creative potential can be optimized to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

The 2026 Rakornas served as a strategic forum to reinforce policy alignment between the central and regional governments in supporting the implementation of priority programs toward Golden Indonesia 2045.

During the meeting, the government reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cross-sector coordination to ensure the success of various national strategic agendas, including in the areas of the economy, investment, energy, food security, and human resource development.

Through active participation in the Rakornas, the Ministry of Creative Economy reiterated its commitment to continuously enhancing coordination across all levels of government to accelerate national development, particularly by positioning the creative economy as a key pillar of growth on Indonesia’s path toward becoming an advanced nation.

“With the spirit of collaboration fostered through this Rakornas, we are optimistic that creative economy subsectors across regions can grow more competitively and deliver tangible benefits for community welfare,” Harsya said.

The National Coordination Meeting, which carried the theme “Synergy of Central and Regional Governments in the Implementation of the President’s Strategic Programs Towards Golden Indonesia 2045,” was attended by 4,011 participants from central and regional governments.

One of the strategies highlighted in Indonesia’s transformation into a modern and advanced nation is the Indonesia ASRI Movement (Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful).
