Solo: President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that Indonesia is currently on the right track. He dismissed pessimistic narratives that suggest the national economy is in a difficult situation or failing.

"Efforts to portray Indonesia as being in trouble, with the economy failing, are attempts to dampen our spirits. And that's not true," Prabowo asserted in his closing speech at the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress at the Auditorium of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), Solo, on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Prabowo revealed that reports from ministers showed positive achievements in several strategic sectors such as investment, unemployment, and poverty. He stated that by August 2025, the investment target set in the State Budget had been achieved, even four months ahead of schedule.

"I was given a report by the Minister of Investment that Indonesia's investment this month has reached the 2025 State Budget target. This happened four months before the end of the year," he said.

This achievement is further supported by data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Prabowo stated that unemployment and absolute poverty rates in Indonesia continue to decline.

"The Head of BPS reported to me that unemployment rates are decreasing, and absolute poverty rates are also decreasing. This is official data from BPS," he said.

Regarding the state financial sector, Prabowo highlighted the existence of the Sovereign Wealth Fund, named Danantara—an abbreviation of Daya Anagatha Nusantara. This fund is considered a pillar of the nation's future economy.

"Danantara is the future energy of the Indonesian nation. Currently, Danantara manages assets exceeding US$1,000 billion," he said.

Prabowo also touched on the government's priority social program, the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) for children and pregnant women. He stated that the program has attracted international attention due to its large scale and impact on public health.

"Abroad, I am often approached and asked about the free nutritious meal program. This program has never existed before," Prabowo said.

As of July 2025, the MBG program had reached more than six million children and pregnant women. He is optimistic that this number will increase in August.

"God willing, by the end of August, we can reach more than 20 million, maybe even 25 million beneficiaries," he said.

Through these various achievements, Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia's future will continue to move towards a brighter future.
