Rosan also highlighted the planned ratification of the free trade agreement between Indonesia and Eurasia, which is expected to further open up opportunities for trade and investment between the two countries.
Furthermore, Indonesia-Russia trade grew by over 12 percent in the previous year.
"So the momentum is very good it's the perfect timing to expand trade, cooperation, partnership, and investment between the two countries," he added.
Meanwhile, Pupuk Indonesia President Director Rahmad Pribadi stated that signing the memorandum of understanding for the joint study aligns with Danantara's directive for Pupuk Indonesia to play an increasingly vital role in strengthening national security while driving global expansion.
Vladivostok's position facing the Pacific region is considered strategic, as the area has long served as one of Pupuk Indonesia's primary markets.
“This makes it particularly interesting because Vladivostok faces the Pacific, a market that has long been a primary market for Pupuk Indonesia,” Rahmad said.
