President Prabowo Evaluates Financial Accountability with PPATK

Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto received several important figures at his residence in Hambalang, West Java, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, to discuss transparency and accountability in state finances. 

The meeting, which lasted from noon to evening, was attended by Ivan Yustiavandana, Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

"The President emphasized that every budget sourced from public funds must be distributed appropriately, managed responsibly, and implemented on time," read an official statement quoted from an Instagram post by the @sekretariat.kabinet account on Sunday evening, May 3, 2026.

This is a routine monthly meeting with PPATK to conduct an in-depth evaluation of financial transactions and strict oversight of the flow of government funds. The main focus of the discussion was to support full transparency in government governance.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of financial management that is not only accountable but also oriented towards tangible results that the public can directly feel. The President emphasized that effective budget utilization is key to achieving public welfare.

This intensive measure was emphasized as part of the Head of State's strong commitment to realizing clean governance free from corruption. Under strict oversight by the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), the government strives to ensure that every rupiah of the state budget is used responsibly to advance the nation.
