Jakarta: PT PLN (Persero) has confirmed the full recovery of its electricity system in the West Java region, following a disruption at a private partner's power plant last week.

“As of Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 21:30 WIB, all customers in the West Java region have had their electricity service fully restored,” declared Krisantus H. Setyawan, Senior Manager of Communication and General Affairs at PLN UID West Java, in an official statement on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

With the electricity system now fully restored, the load management schedule or rolling blackouts, previously introduced, will no longer be in effect.

System recovery completed

PLN expressed its appreciation to all customers for their understanding, support, and cooperation during the disruption.

Moving forward, the company reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the reliability of its electricity infrastructure, and to delivering a stable and consistent power supply to the public.
