Jakarta: The Jakarta Metropolitan Police reported that 23 people were injured in a collision involving buses BMP 263 and MYS 17100 operating on Corridor 13 (Puri Beta–Petukangan) along Swadarma toward Cipulir, South Jakarta.

“All 23 victims suffered minor injuries,” Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Chief Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto said in a statement on Monday, February 23, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Injured passengers were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, Budi added.

“Traffic officers are evacuating victims, conducting a crime scene investigation, and managing traffic flow around the area,” he said.

Transjakarta confirmed that the cause of the accident is still being examined. The company pledged to address the situation promptly and professionally to ensure passenger safety.

“The primary focus at this time is the safety of our passengers,” said Transjakarta Head of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhani.

Preliminary reports indicated that one of the buses sustained significant damage, while several passengers suffered minor injuries.

“Evacuation to the nearest bus stop was carried out swiftly, and those with minor injuries have received medical treatment,” Ayu said.

Bus services on Corridor 13, including routes 13B (CBD Ciledug–Tegal Mampang) and L13E (Puri Beta–Pancoran), experienced delays due to congestion near Puri Beta 2 and the JORR underpass.
