Lombok: Twenty MSMEs fostered by Pertamina Patra Niaga participated in the Mandalika People's Market during the 2025 Grand Prix of Indonesia international event. From Lombok culinary specialties to traditional weavings and pearl jewelry, all of these local products captured the attention of visitors.

Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth M.V. Dumatubun, stated that the presence of the MSMEs fostered by Pertamina Patra Niaga not only enlivened the event but also served as a symbol of economic independence and the promotion of Indonesian culture on the international stage.

"The involvement of these MSMEs is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to strengthening the regional economy. Through this opportunity, we want to ensure that the spirit of energy also flows to the community and local businesses," he said in a written statement on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Marketing Director Eko Ricky Susanto visited several booths of fostered MSMEs at the Mandalika People's Market. During the visit, Eko Ricky interacted directly with the business owners and inspected the various superior products on display.

Expanding the MSME Market

One business owner who has benefited from this event is Meinda Dwi Cahyaningsi, owner of Sate Ibu Lilik Seli. Since becoming part of the Pertamina-fostered MSME program in 2021, this Lombok culinary specialty has continued to innovate and is now becoming known internationally.

"We are very grateful to be able to participate in this year's Mandalika People's Festival. Many foreign tourists have tasted and loved our sate lilit. This opportunity is a source of pride for us as local entrepreneurs," said Seli.

From the craft and fashion sector, Nyalakok Tenun founder Indah Rahmawati brings the spirit of empowering Lombok women through her weaving, a tradition passed down through generations. She explained that all of her weavers are women who preserve Lombok's unique weaving culture.

"This event opens up new opportunities for us to introduce our weaving and derivative products, such as accessories, to more people," Indah explained.

Meanwhile, Mutiara Gitbay owner Ni Made Pipin expressed pride in introducing her pearl jewelry products at this prestigious event. In addition to increasing sales, Ni Made explained that this experience has expanded their business network.

"Through the support of Pertamina Patra Niaga, we have received many benefits, from training to the opportunity to appear at major events like the Mandalika MotoGP," she said.

Appreciation has come from international visitors. Australian tourist Melinda described Indonesian MSME products as high-quality and with the potential to go global. Similarly, Haley expressed her impression of the colorful atmosphere and warmth of the Mandalika People's Market.

"I really enjoyed the local food and art exhibitions. Everything was well-organized and showcased Indonesia's welcoming and colorful character," he said.

Through its continued support for MSMEs, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to driving local economic growth, while strengthening Indonesia's position as a host country that excels not only in sports tourism but also in its rich cultural heritage and creativity.
