UD IMPACT Backs Indonesia’s Future GreenTech Talent Through University Partnerships

Jakarta: UD IMPACT, Asia's leading entrepreneurship educator, today launched the Indonesian Environmental & Energy Young Entrepreneur Project ('Indonesian Entrepreneur Project'), a landmark initiative in partnership with a consortium of Indonesia's most prestigious universities. This include Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), University of Indonesia (UI), Semarang State University (UNNES), Indonesian Education University (UPI), Telkom University Bandung, Sebelas Maret University (UNS), and Primakara University Bali.

The program is designed to build a new generation of market-ready companies poised to solve the nation's most critical environmental and energy challenges.

Over the next six months, the Indonesian Entrepreneur Project will immerse students and early-stage founders in UD IMPACT's rigorous, action-oriented methodology. The program moves beyond theory, forcing participants to validate their ideas through intensive mentorship, high-stakes hackathons, and direct investor engagement. The objective is to produce at least 20 scalable, venture-backed startups by the program's conclusion.

This launch marks a major step in UD IMPACT's strategic mission to establish Indonesia as Southeast Asia's No.1 Talent Growth & Matching Hub by 2030. The program will culminate in a Demo Day where the top startups will pitch to a curated audience of regional investors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.

UD IMPACT brings a proven track record to the initiative, having trained over 25,000 entrepreneurs across 20 countries and generated a verified ESG impact of USD156 million in 2024 alone.

With operations in over 20 Asian countries, UD IMPACT has nurtured over 25,000 startup alumni, 620 coaches, and 470 partner entities, generating an ESG impact worth USD156 million in 2024.

Its programs have supported startups in deep tech, AI, and healthtech, fostering collaboration with top-tier institutions and industry leaders. The launch of the 'Indonesian Entrepreneur Project' in Indonesia marks another milestone in UD IMPACT's mission to strengthen Asia's innovation ecosystem through entrepreneurship education.
