President Prabowo Receives Ceremonial Welcome at Singapore Parliament House

Singapore: President Prabowo Subianto was formally welcomed in a state ceremony at Singapore’s Parliament House on Monday morning, marking the beginning of his official visit to the city-state.

President Prabowo was received by Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The ceremony commenced with the playing of the national anthems, Indonesia Raya and Majulah Singapura, as both leaders stood on the red-carpeted path leading to the Saluting Dais. The solemn atmosphere underscored the significance of the diplomatic occasion.

Following protocol, President Prabowo and President Tharman inspected the honor guard before returning to the dais to receive a formal report from the guard commander. As a gesture of bilateral goodwill, President Prabowo later signed the guest book inside the Parliament Building.

The visit proceeded with a courtesy meeting between the two heads of state and their respective delegations. In his remarks, President Tharman welcomed Prabowo warmly, highlighting the long-standing personal and diplomatic ties between the Indonesian leader and Singapore.
