LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarship Application is Open, Get it Here

Jakarta: Application for the 2025 LPDP Scholarship Phase 1 has closed on Monday, February 17, 2025. But don't worry, the opportunity to study abroad for free is still open through the 2025 Australia Awards Scholarship.

Applications for the LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships are now open. These prestigious scholarships –,a collaboration between Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) and the Australian Government,– are for Masters study at an Australian university commencing in 2026.

These scholarships offer comprehensive benefits, including pre-departure academic and English language preparation, and a range of enrichment and professional development opportunities to support scholars during and after their study in Australia. After graduating, scholars join the large community of impressive and influential Australian alumni in Indonesia.

“Australia is proud to work in partnership with LPDP, building on the long history of education cooperation between Australia and Indonesia which has continued for over 70 years,” said Gita Kamath, Chargé d’Affaires at the Australian Embassy in Indonesia, quoted from the Embassy statement, February 18, 2025.

“These scholarships will equip Indonesia’s future leaders with world-class knowledge and networks, enabling them to drive innovation and sustainable development in their communities and beyond,” she said.

The LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships are open to Indonesians from diverse backgrounds. The 2026 scholarships will target study programs relevant to the blue economy, green/renewable energy, and digital/information technology.

In preparation for the 2026 intake, LPDP and Australia Awards officials will host an online information session on 5 March. This session will provide prospective applicants with further information on the LPDP-Australia Awards scholarships and how to apply.
