Jakarta Kickstarts Third Season of the Cyber Breaker Competition  

Jakarta: The third season of the Cyber Breaker Competition attracted 916 participants from across Indonesia, including students from several leading universities.
 
“The cybersecurity sector represents a new industrial opportunity with immense growth potential, bringing together technological innovation, intellectual property, and creativity,” a representative from the Ministry of Creative Economy, Agustini Rahayu, said during a Metro Siang broadcast on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
 
Deputy for Economic Cybersecurity and Cryptography at the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Slamet Aji Pamungkas, echoed the sentiment.

“The competition helps to uncover emerging talent that will drive the development of our cybersecurity industry,” said Slamet.
 
The competition will feature a series of cyberattack simulations, designed to test and develop participants’ technical, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
