BSN Profits Rises to IDR473.75 Billion Through May 2026, Up 40.99 Percent

Jakarta: PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) records solid business growth through May 2026, following in the footsteps of its parent company, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN).
 
BSN posted a net profit of IDR473.75 billion, up 40.99 percent from IDR336.03 billion recorded during the same period last year.
 
According to BSN's monthly financial report, released on Friday, June 19, 2026, net fund management revenue reached IDR1.13 trillion through May 2026, growing 25.77 percent year-on-year (yoy) compared to the previous year’s IDR899.69 billion.
 
BSN's growth was also supported by an increase in disbursed financing. As of May 2026, BSN's total financing reached IDR 58.38 trillion, representing a 22.68 percent yoy growth compared to IDR 47.59 trillion recorded in May 2025.
 
Meanwhile, BSN's total third-party funds (DPK) totaled IDR60.62 trillion, a 14.68 percent yoy increase compared to IDR53.32 trillion during the same period last year.
 
BSN also successfully maintained growth in its operational profitability. Through May 2026, BSN's pre-provision operating profit (PPOP) reached IDR706.25 billion, up 30.16 percent yoy from IDR542.61 billion in May 2025.
 

Strengthening Business Amidst Global Geopolitical Uncertainty

BSN President Director Alex Sofjan Noor remarked that the positive performance demonstrated the company's continued efforts to strengthen business amidst volatile global geopolitical conditions.
 
He believes that BSN will continue to maintain its growth by strengthening its services and providing Islamic financial solutions tailored for the Indonesian people.
 
“BSN is committed to strengthening business transformation, expanding digital services, and maintaining sustainable growth amid the dynamics of the national Islamic banking industry. We continue to strive to provide the best services (we can) whilst strengthening our contribution to the growth of the Islamic economy in Indonesia,” said Alex on Friday, June 19, 2026.
 
BSN will also carry out various strategic initiatives in a bid to strengthen its business fundamentals, improve service quality, and expand public access to Islamic banking products and services.
 
BSN has delivered a strong performance since the first quarter of 2026 and continues to maintain a positive growth trend through the middle of this year.
