Prabowo Praises The Hard Work of the National Flag Hoisting Troop

Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto invited the National Flag Hoisting Troop of 81 Indonesian Independence Day to Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

The president expressed his gratitude for the dedication of the team.

“Thank you for your dedication and service to the nation and country. You have carried out an honorable duty, hoisting the Merah Putih as a symbol of the nation’s struggle, unity, and sovereignty,” said Prabowo in his official Instagram post @prabowo, as quoted on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Prabowo told the staff who were involved in the series of Indonesian independence day to continue embodying the Merah Putih spirit. He also delivered a message to remain committed to serve Indonesia.

“Continue to embody the Merah Putih spirit in every step and serve toward Indonesia,” wrote Prabowo.

The meeting in Hambalang is the president’s appreciation for the personnels’ hard work, spirit, and contribution who helped ensure the success of the entire series of event commemorating the 81st Indonesia’s independence.

The personnels who involved in the series of event commemorating the 81st Indonesia’s independence consisted of several elements, including the personnels of the national flag-raising team (Paskibraka), ceremony commander, pilots, parachutists, and art and cultural practitioners.
