Integrated Travel Hub Opens at Batam Center Ferry Terminal

Batam: Batam Prime Travel has launched the first integrated travel hub at Batam Center Ferry Terminal, combining transportation services and secure luggage storage at one of the most strategic locations in Batam’s international arrivals area.

Located on the first floor, immediately to the right after the arrival gate, the facility allows travelers to store their luggage safely while arranging transportation without leaving the terminal.

Saleh A. Sagran, President Director of Batam Prime Travel, said the concept was developed after observing travel patterns among tourists visiting Batam.

“We understand that a traveler’s first impression plays an important role in shaping their overall holiday experience. Many visitors arrive early in the morning but cannot check in to their hotels yet, which often leaves them carrying their luggage around the city. With this travel hub, we want to offer a simple solution. According to Statistics Indonesia, Batam is one of Indonesia’s busiest international tourism gateways, welcoming more than one million foreign visitors annually. Many of these travelers arrive in the morning for short trips.

Dinda, a recent user of the service, described the facility as highly convenient.

“This is truly a game changer for someone like me who often takes day trips to Batam. I arrived around 9 a.m. and immediately stored my luggage here because I didn’t want to carry it around to malls and restaurants. The process was fast, the location is right in front of you after exiting immigration, and the staff were very helpful. I could start my city tour right away without any hassle,” she said.

Through its one-stop travel solution concept, Batam Prime Travel offers more than luggage storage. The hub also provides car rental services with professional drivers, hotel transfers and Batam city tour packages, all available in one integrated location.
